The 5 best beaches in Spain

Spain can offer an infinite number of coastal resorts, suitable for every taste and preference when it comes to seaside holidays. Take a look at our list and start targeting. And if you decide to plan a trip to one of the following beaches, don’t forget to book your stay in advance on zenhotels or by consulting other travel agencies.

1.          La Concha Beach

This beach in the Basque Country is located in San Sebastian, in the northeast of Spain, and offers its visitors a fantastic landscape! La Concha beach, which stretches for a length of about 1,350 meters, is embraced by two mountains (Urgull and Igueldo), which creates a spectacular contrast with the golden color of the sand.

La Concha Beach overlooks the beautiful La Concha Bay, where Ondarreta Beach also appears. In the bay, the island of Santa Clara rises to a height of 48 meters, characterized by steep walls and thick vegetation. The size of the beach varies depending on the tide.

2.          Alcudia Beach

Let’s not move to Mallorca, where we find Playa De Alcudia, a long white sandy beach located in the north of the island. With 3.5 kilometers of sand, it is the largest beach in the Balearic Islands and also one of the most prestigious, so much so that it has won the recognition of the Blue Flag.

Alcudia Beach starts near the port of the city and down south until it reaches nearby Playa de Muro, which gives rise to a stretch of sand of about 7 km. The sea is clear, turquoise in color, and due to the shallow waters, it is very safe and suitable for families with children.

3.          Bologna Beach

In Andalusia, a short walk from Tarifa, is Playa De Bolonia, a clean golden sandy beach that stretches for almost 4 kilometers along the Costa de la Luz. This beautiful beach is famous for its dunes, the largest of which is located at the northern end of the beach, where it rises to a height of over 30 meters.

Playa De Bolonia is very popular with tourists who, walking among the dunes, enjoy the amazing view of the calm waters in front. Strong winds often blow in this area and the beach is very popular for kitesurfing lovers.
